Put on a lab coat and enter the Maker Lab! Join Giselle from The Learning Hub for this 3-week series of STEM Maker Classes.

These classes will have you creating new things and discovering the world around you. Tween Space in the Main Library’s Children’s Room. Ages 9-12.

September 12 - Environmental Literacy - Why are National Parks important? What do they do for us? What kind of wildlife are found in our National Parks? Children in the fourth grade will be signed up for a free year pass to all of the Nation’s National Parks locations.

September 19 - Pirate Day Science Lab - Come and Join us for a Pirate Day experiment! Build your own Lego pirates and pirate ships to test the waters. How many pennies can your pirate ship hold?

September 26 - Food Sustainability - Mama Mia! Join us in a discussion about organic foods while making your own ravioli! YUM!
