WEC’appella is the city’s first ever a cappella competition where college and high school acappella groups battle for a trophy and bragging rights as Best A Cappella Group in Worcester! It all happens on Saturday, April 9th at Quinsigamond Community College’s Hebert Auditorium from 7-9:30pm. Join us for a fun filled evening and help show support for Worcester’s public school students.

Our Master of Ceremony is the multiple award-winning vocalist Dale LePage. Judges include Troy Siebels of Hanover Theatre, Kevin Cox, Jr., Burncoat High teacher, a cappella impresario and tv movie star, and Karon Shea, owner of Worcester’s premier talent agency.

WEC’appella is a fundraiser for Worcester Education Collaboration (WEC). WEC  is a small, nimble non-profit with a clear goal of educational excellence for all children in Worcester Public Schools. To achieve this, WEC leads, partners and collaborates in initiatives, projects and programs including WorcesterHEARS and Reading Together.

Tickets are $20 for general public and $10 for students.
