North High Wins Division 1 Championship

Congratulations to the North High Polar Bears boys basketball team for winning the Division 1 state championship for the second year in a row!

The final score was 59-53, with North winning over Franklin. The Polar Bears had an undefeated season and have made Worcester proud! Read coverage in the Telegram & Gazette. The game was held at the Tsongas Arena in Lowell.

South High Girls Compete in Division 2 Championship Game

The South High Colonels girls basketball team competed for the Division 2 state championship, marking the first time in the history of Worcester Public Schools that a girls basketball team made it to the championship game.

It was a close game with a lot of smart playing, ending the season with tremendous effort by all players. The final score was 48-42 Medfield.
