Community Food Survey

Dear Worcester Public Schools Community,

Two people filling out giant survey with giant pencil and a basket of food. Text reads, "Food Survey."The Center on Food Equity needs your help to improve food policy and programs in Worcester. Please take an online survey at FoodHelpWorcester.org to help identify food resources, gaps, and opportunities to improve equitable food access in the city.

The data collected in the Community Food Assessment will lead to recommendations for food policy, projects, and programs. The goal is to improve access to food for all Worcester residents.

The data will be available to public, private, and nonprofit entities who are working to improve food security in Worcester.

How It Works

The Worcester County Food Bank, the Center on Food Equity, and partnering organizations developed a survey to help determine how and where people in Worcester get their food. They want to know what the experience is like. They also want to know what barriers people face in accessing food that is culturally appropriate, healthy, and affordable.

The survey will be distributed by community organizations and partners that serve a wide range of people in Worcester. The goal is to collect data from as many demographic groups as possible for greater accuracy.
