The Worcester Public Schools Office of Grant Management assists with grant development in the following ways: researches funding opportunities, assists with grant writing and coordinates grant applications and submissions. Upon grant approval, we are available to provide technical assistance including interacting with funding agencies in areas such as programmatic reporting and presenting proposed program changes for approval.
The Grants Management Office, located in Room 210 in the Durkin Administration Building at 20 Irving Street, provides support for the grant administration.

Written materials are available for research and help including texts such as the National Guide to Funding for Elementary and Secondary Education, Grant Writing for Teachers and Winning Grants Step by Step. Worcester Public Schools’ personnel are welcome to come in and peruse the collection.
Technical assistance is provided through the identification of potential resources and the review of proposals. Grant Management Office staff are also available to provide training. School personnel are expected to complete the Grant/Partnership Development Form when applying for a grant or partnering with an outside agency to seek funding.
