Welcome to the Human Resources web site of the Worcester Public Schools. The staff of the Human Resources Department is committed to working with employees in all matters related to your employment in the district. In addition, the Human Resources Department serves as the primary contact for all individuals considering employment with the Worcester Public Schools.

Effective July 1, 2013 all school employees are required to submit fingerprints for the national criminal background check. Employees will also have to submit a CORI check.

Leave of Absence:  If you are a current WPS employee who needs to request a leave of absence, or if you are currently on an approved leave of absence and have been asked to submit documentation to the district, please email us at the HR Leaves email account.

Teachpoint/Vector Support: If you need assistance with Teachpoint/Vector Support, please email the WPS Teachpoint support email address.

Waiver/Emergency License Support: If you are a current WPS teacher or administrator who is working under a certification waiver from DESE,   please email the HR Office at WPS waivers support email address. If you have questions about your license or your license application, call the DESE Licensure Call Center at 781-338-6600.
