The Worcester Public School’s District-Based Licensure Program is a practical, intensive, intellectually stimulating and integrated one year initial licensure program. Our program has an innovative component that shares good and best practices of effective/reflective instructional strategies that will provide you with the resources and skills needed as a teacher to build successful learning environments for diverse learners to succeed.

The Worcester Public Schools and Worcester State College are partners in the Worcester Public Schools Initial License Program, an approved district-based intensive teacher preparation program providing a unique opportunity FOR YOU to complete all MASS. Department of Education requirements for your Initial Teaching License. We will accept up to fifteen (15) teachers for this program for the 2012-2013 school year.
