TwiOn Friday, March 8, Worcester Public Schools student athletes traveled to the Armory Track Center in New York for the 2019 New Balance Indoor National Championships.
North High School Senior Eric Shimiyimana placed 5th in the Triple Jump with a jump of 45′ 9.25″. This jump broke his school record and allowed him to finishing the indoor season as the #1 Triple Jumper in Massachusetts. Eric’s jump also qualified him for the 2019 New Balance Outdoor National Championships in North Carolina in June.
Worcester Technical High School Senior Emanuele Dokyi capped of a great indoor season in the High Jump finishing in 14th place.
