Facilities Management

Due to the concern over the coronavirus (COVID-19), Worcester Public Schools has made the decision to cancel all events being held at all of our facilities by outside vendors effective March 13, 2020 until further notice. New Facility Use Permit requests will be declined until this directive has been lifted. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, our primary concern is always for our students and staff. Please check back periodically for updates.

New Facility Use Permits Process

Facilities Management is pleased to announce that applications to use school facilities will now be routed electronically through the SchoolDude FSDirect web-based system beginning November 15, 2010.

To begin, print out the FSDirect Quick Set up Guide and review it. Then log in to FSDirect website and submit your application according to the FSDirect Quick Step Guide instructions.

Work Order

The Worcester Public Schools utilizes an internet-based work management tool from SchoolDude.com called Maintenance Direct.

At each school site, designated staff have access to this program and are able to submit work requests for their building(s), as well as check the status of their requests, online.

Maintenance Direct has allowed the schools and the maintenance department to work together to identify and repair areas of the school system in need of attention.
