WPS Athletic Hall of Fame

The purpose of the WPS Athletic Hall of Fame is to select and honor outstanding athletes, coaches, individuals and teams who have contributed significantly to an athletic program of the Worcester Public
Schools.

Membership in the WPS Athletic Hall of Fame will be granted to those nominees who meet the following criteria:

1. They have distinguished themselves and brought honor to the Worcester Public Schools through their outstanding participation in the athletic program.
2. They have continued to distinguish themselves and bring honor to their organizations and community through exceptional achievements and/or service.
3. They serve(d) as extraordinary role models of character, courage, leadership and citizenship that the Worcester Public Schools Athletic Department aspires to educate its athletes as essential virtues to become a productive member of today’s society.

The Worcester Public Schools Athletic Department invites all members of the general public to make nominations of deserving coaches, athletes, administrators, officials, and athletic contributors for consideration of induction into the Worcester Public Schools Athletic Hall of Fame.
