Biotechnology I Pt 1

Biotechnology Part 1: In this course, students will explore health concepts and skills reflecting new trends in technology, biotechnology, and computer operations. Students will also gain knowledge of the human genome, DNA fingerprinting, advancements in pharmacology, and disease prevention. Bioethical issues and current research trends are featured. As an honors level course, content will be covered at an accelerated pace. Stuidents will study topics at a deeper level and will be expected to complete more independent coursework and assignments.
