Braille I

Braille I: In this course, students will acquire communication skills relative to blindness and visual impairment. Students will study the literary code and the Nemeth code and practice other forms of communication for the blind and visually impaired related to assistive technology. This course is specifically designed for students who are blind or visually impaired. As an honors level course, content will be covered at an accelerated pace. Students will study topics at a deeper level and will be expected to complete more independent coursework and assignments.
