CADD, Introduction to Drafting 9: In this course students will concentrate mainly on basic drafting standards and practices. These practices can be applied to various drafting concentrations. Topics covered during this course are as follows, but are not limited to, alphabet of lines, lettering, manual drafting tools and drawing skills, introduction to AutoCAD and Inventor software, and hand sketching. Mathematics applicable to the drafting field will also be taught in the related portion of this course. Students will use this knowledge to continue their journey throughout their years in the drafting shop. Though there are no prerequisites for this course it is helpful for the student to have knowledge of basic math and computer skills.
