Calculus: In this course, students will gain an intuitive understanding of the concepts of calculus and gain experience with its methods and applications. This is an introduction and includes the following topics: derivatives, differentiation, integration, the definite and indefinite integral, and applications of calculus. This course also strengthens students’ previously attained knowledge of pre-calculus topics (some combination of trigonometry, elementary functions, analytic geometry, and math analysis). As an honors-level course, content will be covered at an accelerated pace. Students will study topics at a deep level and will be expected to complete more independent coursework and assignments.
