Early Childhood I: In this course, students will study the physical, emotional, and social development in children from birth to age six. Students will also explore the responsibilities and expectations of parents in today's society and examine the types of programs available for children, including qualifications for teacher and staff certifications; day care provider licensing; Head Start and pre-school programs; state regulations; and special education considerations.
