English Language Acquisition Laboratory C: In this course, students will expand their social and academic linguistic foundation to support their full participation in the academic community. Students will learn increasingly complex academic language and interpret whole written and oral text for explicit academic communication purposes (explaining; describing; persuading; summarizing). Students will practice communication targeting different audiences and specific subject areas. This course is designed for English Language Learners with a Developing level (EPL 4) of English language proficiency.
