English Language Development 2D: In this course, students will acquire the linguistic foundation for basic academic communication demands, with particular emphasis on learning academic language to support emerging academic discourse. Students will explore how language is used in different contexts and for different purposes and will engage in activities that promote oral expression and listening comprehension for academic content. This course is designed for English Language Learners in the Beginning level (EPL 2) of English language proficiency.
