English Language Development 4B: In this course, students will expand their knowledge of academic language to promote higher-order and critical thinking skills to support active engagement in academic tasks. Students will engage in activities that provide practice of communication with multiple genres and for multiple academic purposes. This course is designed for English Language Learners with a Developing level (EPL 3), Expanding Level (EPL 4), and Bridging Level (EPL 5) of English language proficiency.
