Engineering Design: In this course, students will learn about the composition and appropriate use of various metals. Instruction is provided on a wide range of equipment which includes: computers in machining with Computerized Numerical Control (CNC), milling machines, Computer Assisted Design (CAD), and Computer Assisted Machining. Students will practice a variety of skills required for entry level positions in the machine tool industry. As an honors level course, content will be covered at an accelerated pace. Students will study topics at a deeper level and will be expected to complete independent coursework and assignments.
