Hospitality and Tourism, Applications, Financial Business & Employability Skills 12: In this course, students will focus on the skills needed to prepare students to be financially literate and employable in the global economy of the 21st century. Topics included in this course are money management, debt, credit and financial risks, financial planning, saving, investing, entrepreneurship and philanthropy. Students will also examine career choices with regards to income as well as how choices they make as consumers will affect themselves and the world around them. Students earn Certifications in the following: ServSafe Food Allergen, ServSafe Alcohol, and Massachusetts Crowd Manager. In addition, students are able to participate in a variety of local Cooperative Education opportunities.
