Journalism II

Journalism II: In this course, students will continue to study the purpose, formats, and audience of popular media. Students will act as the eyes, ears, and voice of their school community, seeking out matters of concern and interest and communicating them to their fellow students in writing. Students will maximize class time researching, interviewing, and composing articles. Students will also examine articles that teach specific journalistic techniques. As an honors level course, content will be covered at an accelerated pace. Students will study topics at a deeper level and will be expected to complete more independent coursework and assignments.
