LAN Switch and Wire

LAN Switching and Wireless: In this course, students will learn the technologies and protocols needed to design and implement a converged switched network. Students will also explore the hierarchical network design model as well as how to select devices for each layer. Students will learn how to configure a switch for basic functionality and how to implement various routing types in a converged network. Students will examine the different implementations of Spanning Tree Protocol in a converged network and develop the knowledge and skills necessary to implement a WLAN in a small to medium network.
