Latin III: In this course, students will examine several of the major speeches of Marcus Tullius Cicero, most notably the orations against Cataline to facilitate a greater understanding of speechmaking and deliverance. Students will further study Latin grammar through examination of the works of Sallust, Pliny, Ovid, with a special emphasis on Marcus Tullius Cicero. As a honors level course, content will be covered at an accelerated pace. Students will study topics at a deeper level and will be expected to complete more independent coursework and assignments.
