Mandarin III: In this course, students will continue to broaden their knowledge of Chinese Mandarin by the addition of more practical, daily life topics in order further their understanding of the impact of traditional philosophy on every day life in China. These topics include transportation; food and drink; weather and travel; shopping; hospital and medical assistance; and vacation plans. Students will also explore important historical and current events in China. As an honors level course, content will be covered at an accelerated pace. Students will study topics at a deeper level and will be expected to complete more independent coursework and assignments.
