Percussion Ensemble

Percussion Ensemble: In this course, students will learn the fundamentals of playing percussion instruments and the application of musicianship skills to the genre. Students will develop skills and knowledge in the areas of mallets, drum sets, beginning rhythmic reading, percussion ensemble, and sight-reading. As an honors level course, the content will be covered at an accelerated pace. Students will study topics at a deeper level and will be expected to complete more independent coursework and assignments.
