Photography

Photography: In this course, students will deepen their understanding of the elements of art and principles of design will exploring possibilities through a camera lens. Students will demonstrate knowledge of line, shape, form, color, texture, and space while incorporating them into art work that shows the proper use of balance, repetition, rhythm, scale, proportion, unity, harmony, and emphasis. Students will examine the works of artists from various time periods. As an honors level course, content will be covered at an accelerated pace. Students will study topics at a deeper level and will be expected to complete more independent coursework and assignments.
