Plumbing Theory 9

Plumbing Theory 9: In this course, students will begin a comprehensive safety program leading to OSHA 10 construction certification. Students will gain knowledge of the safe use of hand tools for pipe cutting, threading, and reaming; copper tubing; fittings; and methods of joining and soldering. Students will also explore the history of plumbing; pipe measurement; void spacing; steel pipe; and fittings and assembly. Students will also acquire basic math skills for plumbers, formulas, and hydraulic data information.
