Robotics II

Robotics II: In this course, students will experience in design and construction using Solidworks 3D CAD software and will learn engineering design fundamentals, including problem analysis; problem solving; 2D and 3D drawing and measurement; 3D component and assembly design; materials properties; and construction techniques. Students will also examine electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems using the FIRST Robotics competition, as well as other design projects. Completion of Algebra I and Geometry are prerequisites for this course. As an honors level course, content will be covered at an accelerated pace. Students will study topics at a deeper level and will be expected to complete more independent coursework and assignments.
