Science 1

Science 1: In this course, students will use observations of the sun, moon, and stars to describe that each appears to rise in one part of the sky, move across the sky, and sets and analyze data to identify relationships among seasonal patterns of change including sunrise and sunset changes, seasonal temperature and rainfall and snowfall patterns and seasonal changes to the environment. Students study the structures and processes of molecules and organisms as well as inheritance and variation of traits. Students will also study waves and their applications in technologies for information transfer and gain a basic understanding of engineering design.
