Science 2: In this course, students will begin to look beyond the structures of individual plants and animals and examine the environment in which the plants and animals live as a provider of the food, water, and shelter that organisms need. Students will also learn that water is found everywhere on Earth and takes different forms and shapes. Students will map landforms and bodies of water and observe that flowing water and wind shape these landforms. Students will gain experience testing different materials to collect and then analyze data for the purpose of determining which materials are best for a specific function.
