Message from WFP

Dear families,

As part of the Worcester Public Schools, WFP playgroups will be closed until at least 4/6, in an effort to prevent community spread of the virus.

Please do what you can to take care of yourselves during this time. This is a new world for all of us and the change is stressful. Please do not feel any pressure from us to do more with your children at this time. Keeping your normal routines as much as possible (as crazy as that sounds right now) is as much (or more) than most of us can do right now. Be gentle with yourself as you and your family figure this out together; most of us have never been in this situation before.

There are links attached with some activities for children and we will be trying to continually post updates on Facebook as it becomes available. Feel free to use this, or not use this as is helpful to you. We are trying to provide resources, but it is easy to get overwhelmed. Statewide information is available through this link: https://www.mass.gov/lists/early-childhood-education-resources-for-families. Mass211 is continuing to operate as an information and referral service for any resident with questions about services available. Simply dial 211.

Again, feel free to ignore information that is not helpful to you at this time.
