The Worcester Public Schools Nutrition Department will be participating in the National School Lunch Program and the School Breakfast Program. As part of this program, all schools in the district and those under the sponsorship of the Worcester Public Schools will offer healthy meals every school day at NO COST due to the implementation of the Community Eligibility Provision for School Year 2022-2023. Students will be able to participate in these programs without having to pay a fee or submit a household application.

Additionally, children through the age 18 participating in educational or enrichment activities in an organized, structured, and supervised environment after the end of the school day during the school year are eligible to receive a snack or meal through the At-Risk Afterschool Meals component of the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). All snacks and meals are provided at NO COST to the students.

For more information, you may call the School Nutrition Office at 508-799-3132.
