Alternative Admissions and Summer Bridge programs

Overview

Alternative Admissions programs are special academic programs with a lot more academic support. If you don't meet the regular admissions criteria, they are a way to get accepted into the college! You have to take a placement test (or two) of some kind and do an interview.

Summer Bridge programs are 5 or 6 week long summer programs that can guarantee you admission to the college in the Fall if you are successful in the summer. It is a way to get accepted if you don't meet the regular admissions requirements. Some are free, some cost money, some you can use financial aid towards. Most are college credit classes plus workshops on academic success, study skills, time management, financial literacy, and more.
