To recognize the students at South High Community School for receiving the 2015 Youth Volunteer Group Award at the Harvest Project Annual Celebration.

To recognize Maureen Binienda, Principal of South High Community School, for receiving the “Partners in Excellence Principal Award” from Mass Insight Education for her advocacy and support of the AP STEM Program.

To recognize Mary Doyle, a teacher at Burncoat High School, and James Keenan, a teacher at South High Community School, for receiving the Partners in Excellence Teacher Award from Mass Insight Education.

To recognize First Night Worcester for its work in developing, and expanding, its “Worcester On The Move” program for the benefit and well-being of the students of South High Community School.

To consider input from the School Committee’s student representatives.

To accept a donation in the amount of $500.00 from the United Way for Burncoat Street Preparatory School for achieving the highest percent of staff supporting the United Way (74%).

To accept a donation in the amount of $25.00 from Michael and Anne Olivo for the Tatnuck Magnet Elementary School.

To consider the quarterly update, dated March 31, 2015, prepared by the Central MA Special Education Collaborative.

To review and consider the SPECIAL – “Students in Pursuit of Educational and Creative Integration via Alternative Learning” – initiative as proposed by Ben Adusei and Dan Mahoney of Doherty Memorial High School.

To set a date to recognize Belmont Street Community School for receiving the Reading Energizer Award from the Scholastic Book Company and Energizer.

Request that the Administration provide the number of Worcester Public School families that are homeschooling their child/ren and include the names of the schools and the number of counselors involved in this program.

To accept a donation in the amount of $500.00 from the United Way for Burncoat High School for donating $3,058, the highest donation systemwide.

To discuss strategy with respect to collective bargaining or litigation if an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the bargaining or litigating position of the governmental body, to conduct strategy sessions in preparation for negotiations with nonunion personnel, to conduct collective bargaining sessions or contract negotiations with nonunion personnel.
