Join the Women’s Research and Mentorship Program at WPI, a unique opportunity for female-identifying and non-binary students in Grades 10 & 11 to engage in research and mentorship. Preference is given to Worcester Public High School students.

Required Group Sessions:

• Opening Session: Saturday, September 28, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM




• Mid-Session Connect: Saturday, October 26, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM




• Closing Presentations: Friday, December 6, 4:30 PM - 6:30 PM

Participants must also be available to meet with their individual team for 2-5 hours each week at mutually agreed-upon times.

Who Can Apply:

• Female-identifying and non-binary students in Grades 10 & 11.

This exciting, family-friendly event is FREE and open to the public!

All registered participants will receive a complimentary ticket to the Holy Cross vs. Fordham University football game on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at 1:00 PM. Tickets will be sent to the email address provided during registration.

Stick around after the festival to cheer on the Holy Cross men’s soccer team as they face Loyola (Md.) at 2:00 PM at Smith Soccer Stadium.

All participants must register in advance by completing the required waiver and release form.

Melissa Verdier, President of the Education Association of Worcester, will argue in favor of the ballot measure. Timothy Murray, President & CEO of the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce will oppose the measure. The discussion will be moderated by Dina Tedeschi, a Worcester parent and Family & Community Engagement Specialist at Worcester Education Collaborative.
