Dear West Tatnuck Parents and Caregivers,
It is our privilege and pleasure to welcome you to an exciting 2023-2024 school year at West Tatnuck Elementary. We are pleased to have you as members of our school community and we are looking forward to welcoming our students back. It is our mission to help every student feel happy, welcomed, safe, valued, empowered and an engaged member of the West Tatnuck family.
The faculty, staff, and administration team have been working diligently to align our school’s initiatives with the district’s framework for a Vision of a Learner (VOL) to ensure that the students of West Tatnuck School are future ready. Our ambitious and intentional practices will continue to emphasize student-centered learning environments where creativity, collaborative communication, innovation, problem-solving, and higher order thinking skills are paramount in our daily practices. We strive to challenge each student to grow and excel in their academic and non-academic potential. Our character education and monthly celebrations will continue to be a key focus throughout the school year to allow students to become responsible and engaged community members.

On Friday August 25th from 11:00 am- 1:00 pm, we will host a supplies drop off for any interested families. School admin. and some school staff will be available to assist you. We look forward to seeing some of you.
Lastly, we recognize the integral role that parents and caregivers play in the overall academic success of their children and welcome their valuable contribution to the school community. Please feel free to reach out to your child’s teacher or any member of the school with any questions, concerns, suggestions, and/or feedback. Let's make it another outstanding school year at West Tatnuck together.
