Welcome to Forest Grove Middle School!

As part of the Doherty Quadrant of Worcester Public Schools, Forest Grove Middle School has been a cornerstone of the Worcester community since its opening in March 1960. Over the years, the school has grown and evolved, continuing its legacy of empowering students and fostering a culture of learning and inclusivity.

Originally built to serve around 600 students with a dedicated staff of 53, Forest Grove underwent a significant renovation and expansion in 1999-2000, adding 12 new classrooms and an elevator to enhance accessibility. Today, the school serves 835 students, supported by a talented team of approximately 140 staff members, including teachers, administrators, instructional aides, and support staff.

At Forest Grove, students benefit from a well-rounded educational experience, offering:

• Electives: Art, Music, Physical Education, Social Studies
