Worcester Public Schools celebrated its inaugural Evening of Innovation—a night to honor the incredible staff and community partners who make a difference in the lives of our scholars every day.
The Evening of Innovation reflects the district's commitment to the future, and those who embody the future-ready traits of the WPS Vision of a Learner framework. More than 50 school staff and community partners were honored during the Evening of Innovation.
The night also featured performances from our talented students:
The South High Community School JROTC presented the nation's colors
Worcester Technical High School's Phoenix Johnson, Maria Poroski and Nelson Tetteh led the Pledge of Allegiance
Worcester Dual Language Magnet School chorus sang "We Are the World"
Burncoat High School Spirit Team brought the energy with a dance performance
Seniors Jayden Bordes & Daniel Parke from Burncoat High sang a beautiful National Anthem
To our WPS staff, thank you for everything you do to make a lasting impact on our scholars and their futures! Take a look at some of the sights from the Evening of Innovation!
