Norrback Avenue School’s focus on comprehensive literacy instruction is a school wide, collaborative effort to improve our students’ ability to independently use reading, writing, listening and speaking as a means to effectively communicate for authentic and personal reasons.

Instruction will be strengthened in all content areas, through integration of SRSD strategies and continued emphasis on the reading and writing workshop model.
