Dear New Citizens Center Secondary Families and Staff,
I am writing to share bittersweet news. On July 1, I will no longer be the Principal of New Citizens Center Secondary. For the 2024-25 school year, I will be taking on a new position as Principal of the Lincoln Street Elementary School.
Dr. Erin Goldstein, the Assistant Director of Multilingual Education, will be leading daily operations and instructional oversight for NCC Secondary. I have worked with Dr. Goldstein for many years and can speak to her wealth of knowledge, dedication, and experience in multilingual education. In mid-May, she will visit NCC Secondary to observe and meet with staff and students. She will share more information about the transition in a letter to families in early June, and will provide families and staff an opportunity to meet with her prior to the start of the 2024-25 school year. Please welcome her to our community.
It has been an honor and a privilege to work with so many wonderful students and staff at NCC Secondary. I am also looking forward to the opportunity to lead a new school and be a part of that community as well. As I will still be part of the Worcester Public Schools family, I look forward to continuing to be part of this community, just in a different role. Thank you for your support.
