Clubs & Activites
Being a well rounded student in an important part of high school and teaches the skills necessary to be successful in college and career. SHCS has a vast array of sports, clubs and activities to engage students of many interests. Students are encouraged to take part in extra curricular activities to learn social and leadership skills. SHCS offers transportation home after school and dedicated faculty to work with students.
South High Clubs
Students attend a South High Club Fair the first part of October each year, to acquaint themselves with the diverse Clubs offered at South High. Students are encouraged to start a club if they have an interest and want to get involved in leadership activities.
We recommend that students get involved in extracurricular activities to make friends, enjoy group work, become exposed to leadership opportunities and serve the community. There is a high correlation between success in high school and begin involved in school extracurricular activities.
