What is a Database?

A library database is an online resource (it is not a website) that the we subscribe to (pay for) which contains articles, primary resources, images, videos and information from verified credible sources.  Databases ensure that the information you are reading is accurate and reliable - written by professionals in the field in which they are writing.  These are used extensively in college.

Below you'll find handy videos that explain what a database is and how to use it. Questions? See Ms. Hatz in the library!
