Please note admissions for the Class of 2028 (grade 9 for fall 2024) closed on March 28, 2024.

The timeline to apply for Chapter 74 career/vocational technical education (CVTE) programs for Worcester Technical High School, Doherty Memorial High School, North High School, and South High Community School, is as follows:

January 2-March 28, 2024: Applications Accepted
Wednesday, April 10, 2024: Lottery Held
Thursday, April 11, 2024, by 11:00 AM: Lottery Results Posted Online

Lottery Process

Worcester Technical High School has released its tiered student lottery admissions results for for the Class of 2028 (who will be ninth grade students in the fall of 2024). View the video of the admissions lottery selection process

The admissions lottery process works as follows: Every applicant for the Class of 2028 is assigned based on their feeder middle school, or, if they are not currently attending a Worcester Public Schools middle school, by the WPS middle school that is most closely associated with their address.
