Digital Document Center & the Mailroom
Digital Documents Center
The Digital Document Center (DDC) located at the Durkin Administration Building (DAB) provides printing and copy services for schools and administration. This service is to help reduce the need for printing at the school level, and help free time for prep and instruction.
Print jobs can be submitted electronically on our online form, by our Documents Center email address, or via hard copy. Black & white and color printing is available. Due to the high cost of color printing we ask that you use the color option sparingly. We can print but not limited to; class assignments, handouts, worksheets, flyers, business cards, and posters up to 12×18”.
Orders are completed within a 3-5 working school day turnaround. This includes delivery. The end of August – mid October and mid March – June, turn around times may be delayed due to a high level of demand. Completed orders are delivered back to school locations via the WPS courier.
Mailroom
The Mailroom located at the Durkin Administration Building (DAB) provides mailing services for schools and administration. The district processes over 500,000 pieces of first-class mail annually through the district’s central mailroom which includes, but is not limited to interims, report cards, certified letters, correspondence to staff and teaching candidates, transportation notification, student transfer materials, grant submission documents, and school-based mailings. Cost-effective bulk mail rates are used whenever possible and the district participates in a postage savings program.
The Mailroom is the central hub for all interoffice correspondences. The office handles the transfer of student cumulative records, health records, communications, and distribution of packages between schools.
The Mailroom is the central location for shipping, receiving and post office parcels. Shipments (UPS, Fedex, Amazon, and USPS) delivered to DAB are accepted, recorded and distributed through the mailroom. Schools will continue to have their packages shipped to their building, but in the event shipments are routed to DAB. We will route the package to the correct location.
