WORCESTER – Tuesday, September 26, 2023 – Any K-12 student who is enrolled in virtual schools or began homeschooling in response to the COVID health emergency can apply for P-EBT food benefits. Please note the deadline is this Saturday, September 30.
Who:
Families with K-12 children enrolled in virtual schools that don’t participate in the National School Lunch Program
Families with K-12 children who began homeschooling in response to the COVID health emergency
Deadline to enroll online: Sept. 30, 2023
Eligibility: Applicant must have:
Been enrolled in fully virtual institutions or began homeschooling after January 27, 2020, in response to COVID-19; and
Met the income eligibility requirement to have received free or reduced-priced meals for the National School Lunch Program (NSLP).
Apply for Pandemic EBT Benefits
Benefit: Payment for approved applications will be issued on October 25.
Families will receive one lump sum payment for each eligible child for the total eligible month(s).
$147 (per month) September 2022 – April 2023
$65 for May
