WORCESTER – Wednesday, September 25, 2024 – Kimberly Youkstetter was recently named Teacher of the Year at Worcester Technical High School for the 2023-24 academic year. Youkstetter is a chef instructor in the Culinary Arts program.
The Teacher of the Year award at Worcester Tech is determined by nominations from school staff and colleagues.
"I am humbled and totally surprised," Youkstetter said in an article by Worcester Magazine. “It’s such a huge and unexpected honor to be recognized by peers. Honestly, I have the best job in the world and I work with a great team of faculty and staff here at WTHS."
Worcester Tech staff also nominates for an Unsung Hero of the Year. This year, the award went to Sandra Macknight-Joseph who is an English as a Second Language teacher at the school.
