Accounting I: In this course, students will learn the essentials of accounting concepts and practices. At this introductory level, students will learn how to analyze and complete the accounting cycle for a service business by creating a chart of accounts, classifying business transactions as debits and credits, recording business transactions into a general journal, posting to a general ledger, making correcting entries, completing the accounting worksheet, recording closing entries, and generating financial statements. As an honors level course, the content will be covered at an accelerated pace. Students will study topics at a deeper level and will be expected to complete more independent coursework and assignments.

Computer Game Programming and Design: In this course, students will engage in computer game programming and design using Windows-based programming languages and scripting. Students will work with textures, sprites, particile dynamics and sound to create 2D and 3D games and will use functions, variables, conditional statements, and logic controls to compile and design each game. Multmedia Technology is a prerequisite for this course.

Students will discuss and complete their academic and career plans. Students who receive a B or better in both Multimedia Technology I and II may be able to receive college credit from Quinsigamond Community College, via an articulation agreement to the college course Introduction to Information Technology (CS 105).
