Summer Eats, a free program sponsored by the Massachusetts Department of Education and the Worcester Public Schools Nutrition Department, provides free meals to children and teens aged 18 and under at various locations throughout the city during the summer.
This initiative not only nourishes young participants but also enriches their summer experience with engaging activities.
At Summer Eats sites throughout the city, kids and teens can enjoy nutritious meals without the need for identification or registration. Caregivers will appreciate the convenience of having meals provided, allowing them to focus on other tasks.
Meals are available for consumption on-site, enhancing the program's accessibility and convenience. Learn more about Summer Eats in the FAQ section below.
Does your Summer Program need meal support? To participate, please fill out the Worcester Summer Eats Program Intake Google Form.
The Worcester Public Schools Mobile Nutrition vehicles will be stopping at various locations throughout the city, offering meals Monday through Friday in the summer of 2024. Meal services will be available until August 23rd.
Please note that meal service will not be available on July 4th. Due to potential changes in locations and serving times, we recommend checking our website daily for the latest updates.
Please note: The information from Project Bread's Find a Summer Eats Meal Site may not always be accurate. For the most reliable and current details, always check our Worcester Public Schools website.
