The Worcester Public Schools district is divided into four geographic quadrants: North, South, Doherty, and Burncoat, which are named after the comprehensive high schools in those portions of the city.

The schools in each quadrant are supervised by an Executive Director and assigned one “Quadrant Team,” or “Q Team,” with designated coaches from the following departments: Teaching and Learning, Culture and Climate, Educational Technology, Multilingual Education, and Special Education.
