Update: Burncoat High School will re-open on Wednesday, December 13. Heat has been restored to the building.
Burncoat High School will be closed on Tuesday, December 12, due to a lack of adequate heat in the building. Both the boys and girls basketball games are also canceled on Tuesday.
The Worcester Public Schools Facilities Department is working diligently with contractors to fix the issue.
We anticipate that school will only be closed on Tuesday. We will update families on the status of Wednesday.
Students, staff, and families are being notified via robocall and email about Tuesday’s closure.
